In recent years, the spirits market has witnessed the growth of gin in Brazil. The drink has become the darling of parties and gained popularity in mixology. With high demand, several domestic brands emerged, but one, in particular, has been catching the attention of people worldwide: Amázzoni Gin. Created in 2017 by a group of friends, the beverage has won over Brazilians by bringing ingredients and aromas from nature. In 2018 and 2021, the gin crossed borders and won the Best Craft Producer Award in London, England.

In an interview with BuzzFeed, Patrícia Cardoso, marketing director of Amázzoni in Brazil, reflects on the five years of the brand, discusses the growth of the gin market in the country, international expansion – the brand is now present in over 15 countries – and communication and marketing strategies with the launch of the new campaign.
